Twitter Extra Credit

Our extra opportunity for Web Page Design was to start using Twitter. I’d never really understood the point of Twitter (and I’m not entirely sure I do yet). My professor said it’s a good place for networking. After playing with it for a few weeks I can definitely see that.

I haven’t gotten to that point yet. I’m more of an observer. With the whole social media thing I usually just follow people’s status updates. I don’t really post things myself. (This might be because I’m secretly a hermit. Or not so secretly as anyone who’s known me for awhile is aware of this fact.)

I’ll definitely continue with Twitter. At the very least, it’s a great way to keep current with people I admire.
