Project 6 — coding

I started coding for project 6. I feel like I have a really haphazard process of coding. It starts out simple when I’m just putting the content into the HTML file. But once I start working on the CSS I go back and forth between div’s. I’m not very good at organizing my CSS.

So, we talked about slicing when we worked on the in-class exercise. But this design doesn’t really lend itself to that. I did crop out the images though since the originals aren’t those sizes/dimensions (I used clipping masks). And I want to have a working slideshow for the landing page header.

Here’s my WIP for project 6. There’s obviously a lot to work on to make it look like the comp. I’m still getting all the elements into the file. Then it’s all just positioning and tweaking.
