I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration (with a Printmaking minor) from Savannah College of Art and Design. I also have a Graphic Design certificate from Valencia College.

I am mostly an illustrator but have worked hard on developing my design skills (Intro to Typography kind of changed my life). I’ve been drawing for years — I was one of those kids who always doodled in my notebook during class — and I’ve worked on my personal portfolio site since 2003 (it continues to be the place I can polish my HTML/CSS skills).

My best work happens when I follow a process from initial idea to finished product. Having a process helps me organize my ideas, experiment, and decide on a solution that works the best — whether it’s thumbnails > rough sketch > refined sketch > final painting or wireframes > Photoshop comp > coded website.
